BUILD Wins Sand Dollar Award For Best Office

This past Saturday BUILD was presented with an award for Best Office/Commercial Park at the annual Sand Dollar Awards banquet by the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA), which recognizes excellence in the building industry.

BUILD was recognized for the interior office renovation for Synergy Suites located off Pine Ridge Road. Two suites on the second floor of an existing building offers 9 private offices, 6 open desks, two conference rooms, cafe lounge and a reception area.

The owner's vision was to create a unique, shared office environment that would allow for creativity and collaboration as well as house his own office. He wanted to take a different angle of approaching an office layout, therefore in the design of the space HLevel Architects played with the term "angle" and created 10-degree angled walls throughout the space. To maximize ceiling heights and celebrate the existing exposed concrete, a perimeter drywall dropped soffit houses the HVAC and most of the electrical work leaving the concrete unblemished. To entice like-minded companies to the space he wanted to play upon his Austrian design roots and have minimal detailing white celebrating the existing structure.

The Sand Dollar Awards, the highest accolades given by the Sales and Marketing Council of the CBIA are presented annually to members who have demonstrated building, design and marketing excellence in the Collier County area. The awards are presented to the winners as a result of judging by experts from across the state of Florida.

BUILD Renovates Practice Yoga in Naples

A renovation to Practice Yoga in Naples, Florida was completed by BUILD LLC.  This tenant improvement included new flooring, acoustical ceiling tiles and paint throughout the space. New walls were put up to create a separation between the offices and the yoga studio which now encompasses three separate studios.

An ADA bathroom was implemented complete with modern cabinetry and plumbing fixtures. The interior and exterior doors were replaced as well as updated electrical and HVAC. A folding partition wall was installed to separate the space thus creating more intimate yoga classes.

Practice Yoga is a yoga studio that offers a wide variety of classes appropriate for all levels, including Power Vinyasa, Align and Yin. The studio also offers regular workshops and teacher trainings.
